Our Story
It’s no secret that 2020 was a year that shook everyone, we all seem to have had to make changes and adjust the best we could. Some of those changes, for us, turned out to be for the better. In the midst of the pandemic we (myself and my family) decided to put our home on the market and buy a travel trailer to hit the road full time in.
My husband (Brandon) travels state to state for work so we decided this was the perfect time to travel with him and pack as many adventures in as we can while being able to be together as a family. We sold our furniture, half our clothes, & so many of my shoes (cue the tears) and moved fully into the camper (along with 30+ of my house plants) in July of 2020. I had already been homeschooling our two kiddos so there wasn’t much of a shock from change where education was concerned. The space would just be a tad tighter now.
After schooling, I try to get the kiddos out to explore as much of the area we are in as possible. They've gotten to see majestic places like Horseshoe Bend in Arizona, as well as smaller places such as hiking trails on the outskirts of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The goal is to raise good tiny humans who love and respect the outdoors while being together as a family as much as possible.
Traveling and seeing so much of our beautiful country encouraged me to start this site where I create nature inspired products to sell and share some of our family's travels in the blog. I aim to have something for every adventure enthusiast and try to encourage exploring the world around you as much as possible.
My husband, Brandon, has traveled for work for nearly 16 years and our adventures wouldn't be possible without him. He's given up time with his family, missed special events, and now has the back and knees of an 80 year old man all to give us this life we so enjoy. Because of that, this site has a section dedicated to fun work related products inspired by his profession as a way to say "thank you."
